In connection with the holding of the ‘II Congreso Internacional de Turismo Idiomático’ – II Congress of Language Travel Tourism – in September in Valparaíso, the ACHELE offices were visited by our friend Marcelo García, President of SEA, ‘Asociación Argentina de Centros de Idiomas’ – Argentinian Association of Language Centers.

ACHELE, with its pamphlets, will be at the ProChile stand at the annual conference of NAFSA (Association of International Educators), to be held from the 29th May to 3rd June 2011.

The President of ACHELE, Stefan Meffert, had a fruitful meeting at SERNATUR (the official National Tourism Service) with Dominique Hughes Masson (Coordinator of the Metropolitan Region Office) and Lucía Araya (Sponsorships). As a result of this, Sernatur offered to include in its catalog of experiences in Chile the promotion of language tourism, including in its website and publications.
